1st Six Weeks
Self-Management
Responsibility: Learning to take ownership of their actions and decisions.
Motivation: Identifying what drives them and using that to stay focused on both short- and long-term goals.
Stress Management: Discovering healthy strategies to handle stress and stay calm in challenging situations.
Organization and Decision-Making: Developing skills to logically organize tasks and think critically before acting.
2nd Six Weeks
Safety-Health
Drug and Substance Prevention: Educating students on the dangers of drugs and alcohol, promoting healthy choices, and encouraging a drug-free lifestyle.
Healthy Relationships: Developing skills for building safe, respectful, and supportive relationships with others.
Safety Practices: Learning essential safety rules and practices, both in school and at home.
Personal Health Responsibility: Understanding the importance of taking care of their bodies through healthy habits, such as proper nutrition, exercise, and hygiene.
3rd Six Weeks
Social Awareness
Empathy: Developing the ability to consider and understand others' feelings and perspectives.
Respect for Others: Learning to treat people with kindness and respect in both school and community settings.
Cultural Awareness: Recognizing and appreciating cultural differences and the uniqueness of people's reactions to situations.
Navigating Relationships: Developing skills to build and maintain positive, respectful relationships with peers and others.
4th Six Weeks
Responsible Decision Making
Responsibility: Helping students understand and define personal responsibility in decision-making.
Critical Thinking: Teaching students how to analyze problems, evaluate situations, and brainstorm solutions.
Collaboration: Promoting teamwork and working with peers to solve problems and make ethical decisions.
Reflection and Learning from Mistakes: Fostering the ability to reflect on actions, learn from mistakes, and grow through experiences.
5th Six Weeks
Relationship Skills
Friendship: Teaching students how to identify and build strong, healthy friendships.
Conflict Resolution: Helping students resolve disagreements peacefully and constructively.
Respectful Communication: Fostering healthy ways of expressing feelings and communicating respectfully.
Empathy: Promoting understanding and appreciation of diverse perspectives and emotions.
6th Six Weeks
Self-Awareness
